John Wayne Orange County Airport Parking

Orange County’s John Wayne Airport has four main parking garages in the terminal area: A1, A2, B2 and C, but those are not the only options the airport provides their visitors. The off-airport parking lot, Main Street Parking, is located on 1512 Main Street in Irvine, across Interstate 405, and it offers a free shuttle between the parking lot and the terminal building every 15 minutes, and there is also the Cell Phone Waiting Area located south of Parking C where visitors waiting to pick-up an arriving passenger can wait in their vehicles until they get a call or message that their passenger is ready for pick-up.

The four main parking garages: A1, A2, B2 and C are all spread out around the terminal building which houses three terminals: A, B and C.

Parking A1 is located to the right of the terminal building, while parking C is located to the left. Parking A2 and B2 are located in the building opposite the terminal on each end of the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) with Parking A2 being opposite Terminal A.

Parking structure entrances can be found on the upper level, Departure level, of the terminal building.

John Wayne Airport offers Curbside Valet Parking at the rate of $10 per hour or $30 per day. The service is available daily from 5.00AM to 8.00PM.

The rate for parking in the parking garages is $2 per hour with the daily rate of $20 while for the off-site parking the rate is $2 per hour with the daily rate of $16.

All parking facilities have extra wide accessible parking spaces while van-accessible spaces are available in Parking Garages A2, B2 and C, as well as in the Cell Phone Waiting Area. All vehicles parking in accessible spaces must display a valid Disabled Person Parking Placard or License Plate. The Valet Parking service has wheelchair access. 

There are a total of 61 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations available at the airport marked both with signs and surface. These charging stations can be found in all parking options, except for the Cell Phone Waiting Area, and are divided as follows:

• A1 Level 1 – 8 stations
• A2 Level 1 – 9 stations
• A2 Level 2 – 20 stations
• B2 Level 1 – 8 stations
• C Level 1 – 6 stations
• Main Street – 9 stations

The charging stations in the parking garages are level 1 while the charging stations at Main Street are level 2.

The Cell Phone Waiting Area is, as mentioned, located south of Parking C near the corner of MacArthur Boulevard and Campus Drive. It has 94 designated parking spaces available. 

There is no waiting or parking allowed curbside at the airport.
